Off the beaten path?

How about off the map in your own back yard?

  • Adventure travel?
  • Luxury vacation with your own fresh-water swimming pool?
  • Some of the best deep-sea diving in the Caribbean?
  • Hiking in the rain-forest?

You don’t even have to choose – you can have it all – and much more on the tiny Caribbean island of Montserrat.

Montserrat is one of only very few places in the Caribbean, where hard corals are virtually free of the destructive diseases attributed to pollution. Explore untouched reef, volcanic caverns and a myriad of ocean life just minutes from stunning beaches with our shore dives or head out and experience the wonder of the ocean around the nearby island of Redonda. Or you may prefer reef dives or night dives or snorkeling….or all of the above.
You may just want to go for a sighting of dolphins or sharks. There are a lot of possibilities in the waters around Montserrat. Read more

Hike our Nature Trails

Oriole Walkway - This trail traverses the Centre Hills region, which is renowned for its biological diversity, rich habitat and vegetation. Trail to “The Cot” -- The hike through the lush vegetation offers breathtaking views of the surrounding villages including some of the Exclusion Zone.

Blackwood Allen Trail -- A strategically placed viewing platform allows for panoramic views of the northern villages and the coastline below.

Runaway Ghaut -- Montserrat’s ghauts (pronounced guts) are deep ravines that carry rainwater down from the mountains to the sea. Legend has it that people drinking the cool spring water flowing to the drinking fountain at Runaway Ghaut will be drawn to return to Montserrat again and again. This mini-trail offers the perfect route for a relaxing afternoon stroll or a family picnic in a remarkable setting. Read more.....
